Motorola unveils more Droid Bionic details - International Business Times

The Droid Bionic will feature hardware from Texas Instruments and feature 4G connectivity, but has been severely delayed from due to operational problems at Motorola, analyst said.

Agree that has been out awhile. Wish people would read what they post before they post it rather than just seeing a title and being like ooh something new.

But isn't that kind of what you did with questionable leak from androidcentral forum? seems like double standard. At least he posted it from IT media site news page though I agree that it's not really news to most of us.

I know I've posted this already, but anything reported by Phil Nickinson at AC, or Winston25 and WNRussell at HoFo as infinitely more reliable than anything from any of the BS IT media sites. You don't seem to realize how much clout Phil has.

I know about his reputation but that doesn't mean that anything he writes is always like gospel or fact. Anyway let's get done with this and move on.

I certainly hope Bionic doesn't come with 4.5" qHD but leaks/rumors so far seem to suggest it's 4.5". That doesn't bode well for battery with LTE.

I agree. And my other concern is that Motorola is aware of the battery issue (as they are one of the better manufacturers for battery life), puts a bigger battery in the device, and turns this phone into even more of a brick than it was at CES.

Thank you once again Jinwons is crying because it isnt on some IT site. Just like the bionic was launching july 4th according to the IT sites that you think info has to be posted to be reliable. Then again I guess you cant read either because clearly I said read what you are going to post first. I will get the D3 and try it out. If stable (unlike the DX2) and performs well, I will keep it. Oh, and if the keyboard is good too.

LTE, 4.5" lcd and a likely higher clocked chipset can not equal good battery life. Tablets get away with bigger displays due to much bigger batteries and usually no phone radios.

Seems for me, the D3 should be more functional and no dealing with 3g/4g radio issues.

Just have my fingers crossed that the rubes that created the DX2 firmware were not part of the D3 dev team.

I hope it is 4.3 which it probably will be unless they figured some magic way to make decent battery life with that big of a screen. Although maybe they are making it 4.5 to allow for larger battery and still be relatively thin?
