Accessories New: Jawcase phone case

On their facebook, they posted to email them on who would test the case and who lived in the Santa Rosa area. I emailed them so let's see where this goes.
I am in the market for a new case anyways since my body glove is losing its skin.
 
I spent some time with this case and I must admit I really liked it even though it was a prototype and the build quality wasn't that great.
It is nice having a car mount, stand for home, and a case all built into one. It has a cool factor to show off to all your friends what not only your phone can do but now what your case can do.
I hope this case takes off or someone else makes a similar one.
 
Im sorry but she shouldnt have got all pissed off in her original thread.. and closed it.. then come back here as someone else..and its like a half year later and its still not ready lol

By the time it comes out the X will be discontinued lol :p
 
I have a funny feeling this is a senior design project for a Mechanical Engineer. I could be wrong though, but that is the feeling I get from the video. I don't need another case...had my X for 2 weeks and have 3 already :)
 
Not looking too good for the Jawcase for the Droid X. 75% of the allotted time to come up with backers for $9,300 has passed and only about 21% of that amount has been raised.
 
Seems like a great looking design if it actually holds up to the abuse the average person would put on a smartphone/case. Really just designing for one phone that will probably see a demise before the case product hits production is what would kill this. It was an up hill battle trying to fund such a venture. Maybe the patent will be sold to someone that will produce the product.

I'm looking for a better case for my DX rather than the BodyGlove case that I currently have. The Kraken has bad reviews on the holster which I would need, the defender has bad fitting reviews, the Seidio looks like it may be too bulky, and nobody seems to be reviewing the Cyclops. Yesh.
