For those of you interested in following the developments, if you've joined chads anthrax kernel forums he has released his next iteration of the kernel to the donators that paid for him to get the LTEvo. Download links for the rest of us should be in a few days.

Preliminary reports are quite good

For those unaware, Chads anthrax kernels are private release, and you must be registered to his anthrax forums to get them. They cannot be distributed outside of those forums and there is no source.

I loved his kernels on the OG evo, and am very excited to finally get a fully functioning one on the ltevo

I hate benchmarks, but I'll do a comparison with antutu below

For starters......

Test parameters:
Antutu Benchmark
MeanROM v 5.5
Both Governors set to PERFORMANCE (AKA no real world results)


Zarboz Evil kernel:
Running at 2.1(tried to clock it back down to 1.7 but wouldnt stick after I ran the benchmark and checked setCPU.... it was always back to 2.1 so finally I just set it there and re-ran) I'm too impatient to download the 1.7 version

Result:
8671-8909

Anthrax (alpha 3):
Running at 1.7

Result:
8544-8747

Limitations:

Anthrax was just flashed, it hasn't settled in yet. Evilz had been on the phone for a few days already.
Not comparing apples to apples with different clock settings

Conclusions:

For an alpha build......awesome. Cant wait to see what else is coming
