Root New Market 3.3.11

Ummmm, OK, how did my market update itself? In Manage Applications i have the Market Updater disabled.

But last night I noticed my market app said it was version 3.3.11.

AND, my updates are being wonky...in market, it's telling me i need to update apps that I have already updated this week.

On top of that, for some weird reason, two of my apps "froze" themselves...they just disappeared from the app drawer and when I looked in TiBu, they were crossed out, so I "restored" them.

OK, another of my apps "broke" again for the second time today. What's going on?

Is this all because of the Market 3.3.11 or is my phone possessed? LOL

TIA!!

Edit: also, how do I clear my "apps update" list in market? is that even possible?

so the market can update itself even if i have the app "market updater" blocked? what is that app for?

would it be the new market that is messing up my apps?

hey, can you tell me what happens if i click "uninstall updates" from the market app in my systems/applications folder? what will my market actually end up being...would it be a good or bad thing for me to do? TIA!

It will revert back. Make sure the updater is still frozen. When I froze that was when I started having my memory issues you were talking about

Wow, that seems counterintuitive given that freezing updates should save space and prevent "background running “ apps? Or am I just making that up in my own mind?

And I guess if having it frozen doesn't stop updates, why freeze at all?
