Anyone else get their market or something updated? mine looks totally different!!!

I guess my market app updated itself?

Mine is version 2002207

on Android 2.1~

I have no idea, but i just opened market and suddenly everything looks so cool haha

It is the new android market. Not just for the Epic. What I read a week or so ago said it will be pushed to phones within the next few weeks.

I noticed the new market also runs an alarm sevice. Check settings\ applications\running services. Don't know what effect if any to battery life?

Why would yhe market need to run an alarm service? Anybody got any ideas?

I have the new market and I do not see anything running in the running services area...

Got the market update earlier this morning. Now.....c'mon, froyo!

if you haven't got the new update and don't want to wait, i have the apk here

just use an app installer to install it, takes a couple minutes for everything

Meh, I'm not so thrilled with the new market. It's definitely more bloated now that the "featured" application have to load a larger banner instead of a small icon. Sometimes they don't even display properly. Also, it feels like a lot of wasted space compared to the old.
