Root new Market

Ok so Ive been reading about this new market 2.2.7 so I downloaded the file and put it to the root of my sd card and went to root explorer changed the market name to vending.apkOLD rebooted the phone and then went the the sd card got the new market apk and installed it but it keeps saying forced close after the accept or decline page so i went back and changed the stock apk and I still have the stock market but would like to upgrade to the new one can someone enlighten me on how to do this if I can thanks I'm running a D1 rooted LFY 1.9 watermarkD

I have heard lots of bad things about the new market just like you have experienced it will force close sometimes it might be because the phone is rooted and running a custom rom besides with the new market you only get to try out a paid app for fifteen minutes where with the old market you get 24 hours and when you said installed how did you install it did you click on the one on your sdcard in root explorer and then hit install or did you use root explorer to put it in /system/app and then reboot the phone because i think that's the way you need to do it but for me after everything i've read i hope to just keep the old market and forget the new buggy one
