New member with first Tablet

Thought since every search I do regarding android leads me to these forums and I have learned alot... so time to become a member.
I recently purchased a coby kyros mid 8042-4 and am looking for whatever help I can get to get flashplayer up n running on it or even google play. I am currently considering rooting it but want to become more familiar with this process b4 I attempt. Any advice regarding is appreciated.

I don't know anything about your particular device, but I see there are quite a few Coby Kyros tablets in our Android Tablets & MIDs - Android Forums section, but I don't see the specific device you mentioned.

Maybe one of the all-things-root areas for one of these forums might have some helpful advice about rooting and/or installing the Flash player (rooting methods might differ from device to device, so its good to have specific advice).
