Help New Memory Card Preparation?

Hi all,

I have bought my xperia ray and want to upgrade the storage space.
I've bought a 16gb card for it.

Do I need to do any special function or format before I put it in? Or should I just be able to copy from the original card to the new one??

Safest bet would be to copy the whole contents from old SD to new SD.
Let me know how that works out?

It should be all ok except the app that you have moved to the SD card because those go to a protected system folder (.android_secure <--I think it is the one) and that won't be copied to the new one. I'm not 100% positive about this but either way I'd suggest that if you moved apps to the SD move them back to the phone before you switch SD cards.
