new memory card

hi all, newb here... bought a new 8gb transcend class 6 for my hero and took out the old card and put the new one in and formatted it. looked at the original 2 gb card and has lots of folders... question is: do I have to copy and paste the old folders to the new card or will the phone automatically set up new folders? phone's relatively new so i don't care about the existing photos and whatnot...and do I create specific folders myself...i.e mp3, pics, etc

copy and paste them, you can create some more if you want.
