Help New modem?

[jaman29]

Hey what's this new modem I'm hearing about? FC17 I believe. I know that dastin will have it in the next wild for the night update. Can't wait So is this a new modem or is it old?

[jaman29]

Sorry meant FC14.

[jaman29]

Lol ugghh I meant he's using the FC14 modem. Not including it haha.

[Codegerm]

FC14 is not new. It is an ICS modem and the newest one is FL24.

I never heard of FC14, and it would not be new anyway.

F = 2012, C = March, 14 = day of month

I am currently running the beta GB08 (2013, February, 08) which should be released to Sprint S2 users in the near future.

OK cool. Yeah I was just curious about that one. I'm using gb08 for my tw jellybean ROMs as well. But I'm using fl24 for aosp.

So I'm wondering what dastin meant by his picture of his "about phone" area. Maybe he made a new kernel. I'll check it out on the xda thread again. Thanks guys.
