Help New Moment: what to do first?

No, not me. I still have my Hero. But a co-worker just got a Moment so I wanted to ask if there is anything needed to be done right out the box to fix any known issues. Like with the Hero we had to install Handcent and disable the standard sms to stop it from draining the battery. Is there anything like that you recommend to be done?

Disable the weather widget and fully drain and charge the battery a few times. Other than that it is pretty straight forward. Tell your co worker to join and he will learn a lot more as time goes by. Also read through the Moment FAQ

What's wrong with the weather widget?
