Help New Nexus arrived today, slight problem

My new Nexus arrived, I'm really chuffed. Trouble is the Samsung website won't let me download the manual or register (I'm in the UK). I want to know how long I have to charge it for before I can start playing with it :(. I'm hoping the manual is already installed or I'm going to be somewhat frustrated.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just turn it on, plug it in, and charge it until it's full. There's no special time needed - different batteries could arrive at people with different levels of charge.

What is chuffed?

I just used mine normally when I got it. The battery meter was really inaccurate for a day but after I got a few full charge and drain cycles it calibrated correctly. It's no big deal if you don't charge it all the way immediately.

With the old ni-cad batteries you had to charge them completely before using to avoid getting a lemme. With Li-ion batteries, such as the one in the GNex, that is not a concern. Just.put the battery in and play with it until you decide you need to charge it. With as great as this phone is though, you'll probably play with it till the battery is dead. LOL.
