Help new phone & app market question?

When switching phones from one DX to another will my apps from the Market automatically show up on the new phone? (Purchased & Free)

Same question, but what if I switch to a different phone, like say the Bionic... will I get to keep my apps?

A friend gave me his DX to play with for a while and I don't want to waste money on apps that won't stay with me. Similarly, I loaded this phone up before activating, Liberty Rom and few dozen apps. I activated it later in the same day and phone went through factory reset lost my market apps and they never synced back... Maybe this is normal? Maybe its because the phone wasn't activated?

From one DX to another, yes, because they are linked to your gmail account, not your individual phone. I received a replacement DX after 2 weeks and all the apps I had purchased were still available to download again on the new DX. To a different type of phone? That I don't know.

You may want to copy all your files from your old phones SD Card (if it had one) to your computer and then install them on your new phones SD Card

Has anyone one the DX come from another android? Did your market apis transfer with you to your new phone?
