New phone Sony Arc s Or Samsung I9000 Galaxy S don't know which

I am looking at getting either of these phones but stuck on what to chose The Sony Ericsson Arc s I am liking because of its camera and flash which is the main reason for me choosing this model but the Galaxy s is good but it doesnt have a flash.

Although the Sony Arc S is better spec wise on the camera side I have heard that the camera isnt that good of quality. My wife has a samsung wave 2 with a 5m camera and that produces stunning pictures.

Just looking for some thoughts on these 2 devices.

My choice of Sony Xperia Arc s and Samsung Galaxy S (the first one) is due to being able to get a good deal sim free. I use the camera function a lot which is why I was thinking of the Sony but was wary of this at first after having a bad experience with a Sony X10i where the charging port kept failing however I have hear that sony have uprated this port on the Arc and Arc S.

The only thing with the Samsung is with it having no flash, I have tried looking for some low light samples on line but there isnt many mostly the sample pics have been taken in good light conditions.

I know some of you guys will have had or have hands on experience with these 2 devices. Thanks again.

Xperia Arc S has already received an official update to Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy S will never get it officially but there are ICS ROMs available. However, the Arc S has small internal memory (~300MB useable for apps). I don't have the Arc S but I do have several Xperia 2011 phones (Ray, Active, Mini Pro, Live Walkman) and they get better reception than either the Galaxy S or Nexus S.

In the end I purchased the Sony Xperia Arc S - I have heard some stories about a crack developing in the casing around the top sensor but have heard this is covered by the warranty if ever it happened to mine. I have also taken out insurance as it looks good but feel it wouldn't sustain a heavy knock so I took it out for peace of mind.

Thanks for the help :)
