Is it just me or is it odd that the build number of this is lower than the previous radio release?

its not really lower.. went from .48 to .49 and from .78 to .79

I've never flashed a PG05IMG update before. I'm rooted with revolutionary and running BAMF Forever, I'm guessing that flashing this update will not mess up my BAMF Forever or any ROM in general?

Correct. The download in the op will only update the radios

Been waiting for some new ones since the Open Mobile radios weren't that great. For me at least.

If you're running cwm you can flash the touch version. It's 2 bucks but it's nice and worth the money I think.

it doesnt really matter what touch recovery you run,you cant flash radios in recovery. :vroam:

i assume shes going to flash them in this manner:

i havent forgotten my TB,and ive had the itch to run it for a few days,but the rezound has me pretty spoiled on ICS.

as soon as cm nightlys start,or we at least get a stock leak,ill be back to it for sure. i may go ahead and switch back for a few days to test the new radios... ive kinda been wantin to check out thundershed also.

i did run it a couple days with the whole open mobile RUU back when it leaked. i wasnt impressed with the radios either.

Just flashed the new radios and speeds via speedtest.net app are showing a great (maybe 40-50%) improvement.

EDIT #1: I think I figured it out. Trying again...

Yeah definitely check out ThunderShed, probably the only ROM that's kept my flashing habit in check.

How you liking the Rezound? I passed on the Nexus and Rezound to wait for the S3 so I'm really hoping VZW doesn't screw that up..
