New redesigned Play store apk anyone?

As with anything new, shiny and phone related, I couldn't wait and downloaded from one of the Phandroid link earlier.

It's very minimalistic, kinda reminds me of the old, old interface when it used to be the Market.

I think I like it.
 
Just flashed it. While I like the new look it appears to be slower than the old Play Store. When I scroll up and down on a page it does not store the page in memory and constantly has to reload the images (I'm talking about the home page of the Play Store).
 
Friendly reminder:

As with any APK downloaded from an unknown source, be careful.

Especially with something like the Play Store which is a System app (meaning it has permission well above and beyond normal apps) and has access to credit card and other important data.

That said, it looks pretty sweet. Much nicer design than plastering giant pictures over everything :)

The home page is mostly blank for me, just categories at the top. Is anyone else seeing this? It's probably because I'm in the UK.

Also in the UK. It makes the Play Store look a little bit rubbish to me. Everything else seems OK but it reminds me of the OLD Android Market with its more list like style and green accents - not sure yet if I like it.
 
If you arent in the us it hasnt been rolled out for your country. Youll get a picture like above bwcause y arent supposed to be on it yet
 
SO this is what the play store is going to? Blahhh boring.. Can we still keep the old one , or is this going to auto update to the new layout?

It will auto update but you can keep the old one. Might have to be rooted to do so though.
