Root New ROM. I want something different.

I have been using Fro-yo/Gingerbread custom ROMs, Sense HD ROMs, and MIUI ROMs for while now, and I have to say; I'm bored.

Are there any ROMs that I haven't found, that are at all special or different?

I must say; grateful that I am to Devs for doing what they do, but none of them seem to have imaginations when it comes to design. I mean Miui was seen as a radical departure and even that is an iPhone clone. The door is wide open for designers with new roms but all we seem to get is variations on the same gui framework!

Seems crazy to me. Notice to devs: Go mental.
 
I think its good to keep the base rom uniform but there is definitely a lack of shell replacments or even launchers that are truely innovative.
 
Totally agreed I am starting to get bored of MIUI. BUt the options arent great! There are so many different variations of Sense roms around but none of them tickle my fancy. So looks like I am stuck on MIUI!
 
Im waiting for the day when i can install WP7 on my desire, i have an HTC HD7 but you know... Just for fun ;)

Yeah, there is a real lack of imagination among the devs (Awesome though they may be!).

I wanna see something crazy!

You can at least enjoy now the UI - just install Launcher 7 from the Market... :)

Well since you've tried them all (like me), why not try RCMixHD desensified or LeeDroid with Stripped patch (Sense dialer, contacts, calendar, etc without Sense widgets & launcher).

Also try Slidescreen for a launcher, takes some getting used to if you want something different.
 
Hmm... Yes... I'll get try that again soon.

At the moment I trying to get lots of use out of SPB Shell 3D after paying
 
iNsertCoin 2.0 Daffie Desensed version is good, works reallly well with ADW Launcher EX - as in my signature with the download link for the ROM ;)
