Root New ROM rocks

I've been using the Trulyepic Rom by Ragnaroks for well over a week now. i absolutely LOVE it! it's pretty bare bones at first (no touchwiz or anything flashy), but it's amazingly smooth and definitely the most stable rom I've used to date (hence why I've had it for a week without changing to another rom) Btooth works, gps is flawless (down to 4 meters), battery is definitely better, wireless tether is strong like whoa (even on 4g). My only wish is that he had better choices of wallpaper!

Are you sure tethering works in 4g? What kind of speeds do you get on your pc?

This alone would make me want to flash my first custom rom.

Just Rooted and flashed Trulyepic EXT4 and it is amazing compared to the stock eclair I was on just an hour ago!

Ok guys i need your help here. I just got the epic. Rooted it and now i wan to put this ROM on it. This seems alittle more complicated than doing it on the HERO. I have tried to some help with this but im not sure where to start. If someone has a link or some time id appreciate it!

More complicated than the hero? I beg to differ. Rooting epics is probably the easiest rooting job ever! What are you trying to do? And which rom are you looking into?

I am trying to do the Quantum Rom. Or any suggestions on a better one also. I rooted the Epic with ease, but i guess i am just confussed on the process of how to get the Roms on here. I guess i just picked up the Hero really easily.

^ Where are you running across difficulties? Which version of Quantum and which version of Clockwork are you using?
