Root New ROM - Serendipity

Dang, I just flashed Phoenix 1.5 yesterday and now there's a 2.0 version. I had Assonance 5.2 before Phoenix and I had gps issues. Now with Phoenix right now. Maybe I'll give your new rom a ride later.
It seems like there's a new rom every day. Hard to keep track on which one is the better one. So far Assonance 5.2 and both Phoenix roms have worked the best for me.

Wow 1.0 yesterday 1.7 today. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. So many ROMs so little time. I definitely want to try it, not a big fan of the OC myself but thats easily dealt with. Probably give it a try once the updates slow down some. Who knows though I may get the itch at 3 in the morning like I did with phoenix

Yeah I'm not sold on OC either... no problem with a ROM allowing for it, but it shouldn't be OCed out of the box as there's no guarantee that it's going to work for ever piece of hardware. Best to leave it at 1GHz initially and let the user crank it up if-desired (or is this what Serendipity does, unlike other OCed ROMs?).

Very nice. Got it loaded up last night and I'm very happy. Cognition was OK for getting Flash, but with the bugs, not easy to use. I am LOVING Serendipity 1.7!

THANKS MIKEYMIKE01!

I found serendipity to be an unholy drain on my battery. I'm not really sure why but even at 1GHz screen set low wifi/gps/sync off i still managed to drain 10%+ an hour on standby. Tried calibrating the battery but it didn't do much of anything.

If anyone is running this ROM with the same problem I suggest reconfiguring the battery stats as this is the only thing i didn't try.

Wish i could run this ROM though, was quite spiffy looking
