Root new ROM

Hi!

I have miui rom now and I would like to have some new rom, i dont know, something like leedroid. my question is, for installing that leedroid, all i got to do is:
1. wipe data/factory reset
2. wipe cache partition
3. wipe dalvik cache
4. install zip
...
or i got to do something else? that is how i updated miui several times.

If your changing to a different rom rather than updating you should really wipe /system as well.

Installing the ROM will wipe system. I've never done that separately.

But speaking as a staff member for a moment, this really belongs in the root subforum. Give me a minute...
