Exactly. It'd be like me taking my co-workers schematics and turning them into my boss as my own. Just because the company benefits from the work being done, doesn't mean that it's okay to steal others work in the name of said benefits.
 
Fab is not and has never displayed obsessive ownership of any sort; I've modified AND posted several of his framework-res files. He should get credit for his hard work, plain and simple.

About Drew Garen, I'm not sure what to make of the situation. He says he received the files from Spaceghost (whoever that is) and I'm inclined to take that at face value (there's been no rebuttal from said ghost).
I think we should reserve our "judgement" for the time being; regardless of where the files came from, a good Rom is welcome as long as those deserving of credit get it.

After all, Rubix was built using GummyJar as a base and it was a great Rom in it's own respect (my fav 2.2 Rom).

We need more dev's not less.

You know I don't remember seeing DG giving SpaceGhost any credit for the rom and he just admitted he received the files from him. Hmmmmmmmmm!!

Please check before making that kind of statement ;). As far as I'm aware (and I've tried almost all of Drew Garen's stuff - being a rom whore) he has ALWAYS given credit (mistakenly or not) to Koush for his AOSP apps. Like I said, it might be best to follow Fab's fabulous direction, reserve judgement for now, and take the higher road.
 
i did not remember ever seeing a spaceghost29 on any of the forums. did a quick google search on the name and got no android hits. only other random forums. is this a made up scapegoat?

Well I went to DG website and didn't find anything. If I missed it I apologize.
