download es file manager, press menu, click tools, click on root sexplorer, goto mount rw, remount /system as rw (not to), then goto /data then click app, look for nova launched icon, hold it (long press) select copy, then travel back to /system then click app, paste it here, long press nova launcher icon again, goto properties and make it look like

OK will try. How about the data/system/throttle files? Can they be deleted? I read it makes Internet faster?

I don't mess with anything if Idk exactly what it does and how it does what it does. If ur up to it go ahead but I don't think it'll interfere with the boot process, worse case i see is browser fc if it does what u say it does

I tried apps like Greenify (which I hear good things about) But the only app that will hibernate is Tango. It won't hibernate any other app. Dev says is superuser. He recommended SuperSU but was a mistake.

Other apps to either quarantine or freeze an app don't work either. RTBP won't let me freeze an app.

What you think?

UPDATE :
I used RTBP to do what you suggested. I copied and pasted it to /system/app and the properties already said rw-r--r-- So this OK? I can now delete the stock launcher? Do the same for a browser?

Never delete the stock launcher without having a CONFIRMED working backup launcher, to check if ur moved apps actually work reboot, if they work they work, if not then u have ur stock launched to fall back on. And u need ur stick browser I think because other apps depend on it for certain things

OK. What about the other stuff above concerning the Greenify, freeze... Etc?

Idk about greenify (don't know the app) but why would u want to freeze an app? Just backup the /system/app folder to ur sdcard, then delete the apks u dont want, and repush when u want the app back

I'm trying everything I can to make the battery last. Greenify places certain apps in hibernation. It's not necessarily freezing.

Given your trying to save the most battery wise will say Greenify is good for what it does but regardless of what happens always keep the following in the mind. From inception the Rise stock out of the box has only 512 mb of RAM which is not really good for a phone simultaneously anything you download to this phone unless moved to SD takes up RAM slowing down your phone. This is why prior downloading any file look at its bytes following equation equates to the following:

Byte wise anything in kb saves battery anything mb kills battery

Obviously your not in school but this is my lesson for the day

Thanks for the info. I did what you suggested the other day and moved all possible apps to SD card. I think it helped some. I've done a lot the last few days. The phone doesn't freeze as much but still does every now and then. Battery & laging are still a problem. Right now I'm viewing the RTBP website to learn more. I'm trying to figure out what values to set everything.

PS: I have a Hydro.

I know you have a hydro thing is all 3 phones are equivalent just different names.Hydro waterproof,Rise Qwerty or keyboard,Event is the Rise 2 lacking Qwerty same features. What user apps are using or have downloaded to your phone besides the system apps already apparent when getting it?

Let's see, will start with what I use the most.

For browsing I use Opera Mini the most. Probably 90% of the time. If I want to stream a video or get a good look at a page, say Facebook, I use the new Opera Browser. I was using UC Browser but it either crashed a lot or froze my phone often. Opera Browser seems to work somewhat better. Although after streaming some videos it will start lagging and eventually freeze.

For YouTube I use TubeMate. I uninstall YouTube app as suggested.

I also use Netflix every now and then. Most of the time I can watch a full movie without a problem. But the phone will freeze during the movie sometimes. But this also happens with my downloaded movies. o I use MX Player for my videos. Which I like.

Music? I use Pandora and or TuneIn Radio Pro every now and then. For all my downloaded music I use PlayerPro.

Pictures, images... Etc. I use the stock Gallery.

I also use SwiftKey as my keyboard and an app call Vaulty (to hide pictures/videos).

You already now I use Nova Launcher. I think I got rid of the stock one. Is not listed. Nova is now a system app.

For battery I use Juice Defender Plus.

Downloaded apps that I use since my rooting for help are ROM TOOLBOX PRO and RAM Manager Pro. But I admit that I'm not sure how to set them app.

I have other apps and games that I don't use to much. They are all on my SD card.

Lmfao no offense but the Opera you and everyone else on this site is using sucks ass given it equates mb not kb like mine.Use this its my form of Opera uses socket connections over html which no other browser has except mine lmfao:

Just make sure to always have your auto date and time boxes checked in settings otherwise this Opera will not work. Also to save battery unclick these boxes along with going into settings sound persistant alerts as this kills battery. Also when using this Opera make sure to go into settings and click mobile view

So what's the difference between your version and the one that I'm using (Opera Mini 7.5.x)?

Mine is the fastest browser even phones that have 4g connections can not touch mine. Its 4.2 initially jar based which is why mine has socket connections over html

The one that I use the protocol is set at: socket/HTTP

Will yours override the one that I'm using if I download it to try it?

Mine is still faster as lower operas has instant like page loads compared to higher one even on socket.Try it and you will see and no you will just have two operas also mine technically does not exist lmfao its just that bad ass

For those who actually know what their doing like me in truth RTBP is actually a mini CWM in disguise. For one go to app manager, batch backup of all apps, they will be saved in app manager/app backup folder sd card wise, you can then restore anything you deleted both user and system apps

I downloaded and installed. I tried a few pages and loads a bit faster than the other Opera Mini. However, I already have a couple of problems :

1. If I try to enter text for my Facebook, e.g username/password it takes me to a screen that says on top 'Enter Text (5524)' but it won't let me get pass that. It's the same for other pages.

2. In settings it won't let me check mobile view. Or check / uncheck anything.

3. Won't let me copy/paste?
