Root New root sticky

The new root sticky needs some serious work. I've gotten some of the worst mistakes corrected. I suspect that most of the ROMs listed are obsolete. If you have any corrections or additions PM the OP. I sent him links to the Sense ROMs I follow but the newest MIUI and other non-Sense ROMs are missing.

Yes, as per the opening comment at the start of the new sticky, if you feel that there is anything that needs adding (or removing), please let either me or your favourite guide know via a PM or you can contact us through http://androidforums.com/private-chat-staff/ to inform us of anything that you think needs looking at :)

Please bear in mind that the new sticky is always going to be a work in progress (in terms of ROM/Kernel links, etc.), but has been designed to provide a lot of info, that new-to-root users would find helpful, in one place.

I have removed ROM links for any ROM's where there has been no discussion in the thread for the ROM in the past 3 months (as per bberryhill0's request).

Sorry if the formatting is a little off, but I am currently in work and our internet connection seems not to show things as they should be (I will be looking at this when I get in this evening and correcting anything that needs it) (all sorted now :))

More ICS ROMs listed in the root sticky. It would be useful if the devs didn't Kang the names of their ROMs too but oh well.

I am rooted, but I followed directions step by step in the internet. I used revolution. How do I go to ics? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Download one of the ROMs listed in the All Things Root sticky but be warned that the camera won't work among other things. I just installed KangBang.

Have you used the Codename Android ICS ROM from the sticky? If so, do you like KangBang better? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I flashed my phone using instructions on a website and youtube, but I don't know what I have now. I think it is simply a rooted stock rom. I installed Go Ex, so it looks completely different now. Is there a way to tell what Rom you are using? I was thinking about cyanogenmod. Thanks for the help!
