Help new S2 automatically shuts down

I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy S II GT-19100 International Version and it keeps automatically shutting down on me when I don't use it for a while.
I tried clearing the cache and factory reset but they haven't seemed to work. Any suggestions to fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Return it / Get a replacement if it is brand new.
