Got an email from Seidio this morning about these. They seem to be a new product.

Certainly sounds interesting although I'm a little put off by the way they made the cutout for the speaker, sensor, camera.
Also the email newsletter has a typo in it and if you read the description, the Galaxy doesn't have a home button...

I have had Seidio protectors in the past and they weren't bad at all.

If you intent to try these, let us know how you like them. :)

I hate when companies say things like "resists marks and smudges with advanced technology".

WTF does that mean? Is it coated? Does it have a surface texture? Fingerprints are oil that is left on the surface of anything glossy. There's no magic here. Tell us what's going on.

Also, I don't think I can get past the cutout. Those sharp corners are going to be more inclined to lift off and capture dirt, not to mention it's exposing the glass - and for what purpose? If the screen protector is so wonderful with "high definition quality" and "optical clarity" then why do you need a cutout?

I have the regular crystal screen protector from Seidio, cut in the same fashion, and it's been great. I've always found Seidio's screen protectors to be the easiest to apply and extremely long lasting (I've actually never had to replace one).
