New SD Card - Problems

Hi guys

I have just got my 32GB Micro SD card for my Desire. Its a Scandisk Class 4. I have moved all my files over. I have 4 movie files that I have copied over, I was watching one this morning on the train with the old 4GB card, and was fine. But when I go to watch them on my new SD card, it says I cannot play them..... Weird. I can play videos that I made with the phone camera fine. Anyone got any ideas?

Worth doing though. It will tell you its true class and size. Ergo, if its a fake.

Looks to me like it's a 1GB card masquerading as a 32GB. It was quite a common problem a while back with flash drives, there's a few good eBay guides around about it.

Basically, it reports an inflated size to the OS, but just throws away anything that won't fit.

Also, just look at the write speed: Class 4 = 4MB/s, you're getting 2.37

I'd be getting onto Paypal for a refund.
