Help New "Share via" functionality in updated Gallery

Hi all. Went to share a photo I took this morning, and noticed that the little "Share" icon at the top of the photo had changed with the Gallery update, and instead of showing the most recently used app (e.g. Facebook, Handcent) that you shared to, it opens the thumbnails of all apps possible to share to. Anyone else find that extremely frustrating? I thought that "most recent app" functionality was very useful, and much more user friendly. I'd take that over a spiral photo album any day.

Oh, I have a Galaxy SIII (Sprint).

I also hate how when.. say you tap on a link for example, you get to choose what app to use and have to tap the app then tap "this time only". I preferred the ICS way where you just had to tap the app or check a box if you wanted to make it default
