Some one please help... I dont know all this 'root' talk and i havent done anything to change my Incredible from how it came other than the 2.2 updates. What does this one do other than give vcast and slacker? Who needs vcast LOL and i already have slacker! The last update i did changed all my punctuation marks and made it more difficult to get to them. Thanks for any advice for a novice!

Seems your question is more about the update and less about root. Perhaps this should be addressed on another thread.
