not a big fan of swipe in general. i guess im old school so i haven't tried it if you like the new beta 1.3 better then the old one let me know and ill try it. i have bin told that if i practice with it i would like it better. i still dont get why everyone hates actually talking on a phone. had to start txtin about 3 to 4 years ago if i wanted to get a hold of any one lol. its funny i hate using lol but i still do it so i guess im a bit of a hypocrite.

I love the new Swype u should get used to it its so much faster
 
I have to second all thumbs up here.

Easier to use, way more responsive, faster, the new themes make it easier on the eyes and fingers; adds swift keyboard features-- so those users are recommended to try it.

The dictionary backup is great, but too bad it's not possible to import the one from the previous swype-- or at least be able to back that one up to the cloud for merging purposes.

The auto-add of social account contacts to dictionary very helpful.

It's a three-run homer in my book.
 
I like the one that came with our phones better because I could switch between Spanish and English with just a key-press, one the 1.3 I have to press and hold the spacebar, then select the language.
I also like the square letters more than the rounded ones in the new beta. I don't know why they are round but yea, don't like them.
 
This swype beta actually has replaced swiftkey for me. Has the stuff I loved about swiftkey with the bonus of Dragon Go and Swype's improved accuracy.

I switch between 5 tongues, so the new is better for me, saving having to cycle thru all to come back to inglich.
But, more important- the new positioning avoids accidental language toggle when tapping nearby keys.
Different strokes for different 'pokes...
