New text message notification while on a call

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this was ever addressed but my EVO doesn't notify me of a new text while I'm on a call. Is there even an option for us to receive an alert of a new text while we're on the phone..?

Handcent has this as an option. I assume you mean a audio notification while on call.

I use Handcent and it has a setting for text-during-call notifications. Under Menu/Settings/Notification Settings/Notifications settings (again)/Sound on call & Vibrate on call.

What app are you using? Not sure if the stock app has that feature.
