ROMs New to Android and have a ROM Question

I just bought a G2(it didnt come yet) but I'm reading up on how to root it and install a custom ROM. I would like a very stable ROM with HTC sense 2.2 for my G2. I have seen many different ROMs and I'm confused which to select. Does anyone know of a good stable rom with sense 2.2 that works well for the G2? Sorry for the noob question all the info is just so overwhelming for someone new to Android

Your best bet is to download virtuous as it is the closest thing to stock sense out there
