Hello! I've had my LG Spirit for a month or so. I love this phone! I cant wait to put Katana on it; it looks super clean! Just gotta get a faster internet connection for the download lol.. Anyways, there are a couple issues I have with this phone but there's one that i'd rather focus on because I haven't found anyone on here with the same issue. This has happened to me about three times: when I was browsing on my chrome app my phone would freeze and then it would start to flicker like crazy and i can't turn my phone off or anything. All i can do is go home, but when i would try to navigate to anything else it will go back to chrom and start filickering again. The only thing that fixes this is pulling the batter. Can anyone help me try to fix this? I'd appreciate it very much! Thank you :)
 
welcome to the forum. there's a $5 union fee.. just joke. sounds like the issue is with the app. Try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. I never use Chrome my self it stinks.
 
So I should remove it from the system since it came pre loaded and then redownload it as a third part app? That's kinda what I was thinking to do but wanted someone that had more experience with the spirit to give me some advice! Thanks you guys. ill give it a shot and hopefully this problem will no longer occur! If so ill probably just use a different browser!

yeah chrome can be a bit testy. they shouldn't have it as a system app. If you are rooted you can use titanium back up to uninstall it
 
If its a system app, id suggest doing the data wipe first.

Chrome is my browser of choice on any phone able to run it

It may just need a little maintenance wipe
 
I think I'll just remove it using either titanium or root explorer and redownload it. My sister also has the spirit and she's had the same problem with her chrome browser! it's so weird!

:D in my opinion and really mine is the only one that matters lol joking maybe...chrome sucks like apple
 
Welcome to the "Cool Kids Club" - LOL!

I'm running Google Chrome on my LG Spirit by choice as it seems to be the fastest browser and most stable.

Also, Root your Spirit when you get a chance so you can rid your phone of all that bloatware
