Help New to Android, new to A500

Hi. Brand new here, and I just bought an Acer Iconia A500. Really liking it so far, but I've already figured out that I have no idea how to use Android correctly. I can muddle through playing music and copying files, but I could really use some pointers for basic use and maybe some good apps - I'm using the tablet for streaming video, reading ebooks and general browsing.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi Welcome Here On This Forum
It will take a time to get used to it but it will come.
One thing you need is ES file explorer.There are other programs for this but this is my favorite. With this program you can actually search through folders like in windows.
The internal memory is called SD Card and the external SD Card is called External
SD Card. What kind of apps would you be interested in.
 
I wish the Iconia came with a good Office s/w baked in. Yes, I know I can download Docs 2 Go etc., but it would have been nice to have it in a fully functional form as a pre-installed software. Oh well!
 
Yeah...but (1) you gotta root your tab and then flash it with another rom (2) which I cannot do because like an idiot, I upgraded to 3.2.
