I have just purchased my first android phone a Galaxy S2 after having a iphone for a few years. I have noticed that every day since I got this phone that according to my at&t online account at 7:35 in the morning it is sending large amounts of data anywhere from 15 to 40 mb but I can not tell what it is doing or where it is going. Can anyone help me understand how I can figure out what is sending this data. I am not even using the phone this early in the morning. Thank You

apparently after looking into this further I installed a Data manager app and it was showing that the AP Mobile Widget was pulling all this data 20 MB in less then 4 hours this morning and it was not even being used and was forced closed. The only way I was able to stop it was to do a hard reset on my device now I lost everything and have to start fresh again.

Yea make sure you dont touch the AP widget. Fortunately i havent come across this. If you have a 200mb plan you should try to inform AT&T incase any overages. Hopefully Samsung releases an update/patch for this. Its urgent

The first thing I did, even on my international version, was to root the phone and remove the AP Mobile widget and the Accuweather widget. These are both data miners.
