Root New to BrokenOut3.0 and have a question

I'm fairly new to removing stock from a device and had a specific question about Broken Out 3.0 after flashing it yesterday. Is there a reason why in the About Phone section in my phone under software it says Broken Out 2.0? Perhaps an oversight or something wrong with the flashing?

To answer your question the developer did not change the version number in the build.prop you are using 3.0 :)
 
In the book of mtmichaelson there were talks of a sacred build that though indeed had all the features of 3.0 from the new kernel to the experion GUI it still bore the branding of the infamous B.O 2.0... The legends say the download is only possible using kazaa with a secret r@ygold file on a 56k modem using AOL 4.2.. why don't you have a seat over there and tell us about the other discrepancies you are finding in this rom

Was only curious to ensure I was up to date on my ROM and getting the most out of my phone.
 
I was just messin around wit u bro.. 3.0 just says 2.0 cause it's hipster like that.. As for getting the most out of your phone; if u don't mind weak battery life try holoS ROM, it's wicked heady if u have phone plugged in alot....
