New to Developing, looking for ideas and help

[OsoMoore]

Hey everyone,
I've been wanting to develop apps for a while - and I finally have a smart phone! I'm hoping to get some good tips around this forum.
I'm also looking for the right place to ask questions about getting the Android SDK running (it seems to hate me). Can someone point me in the right direction for that?

Hello! Welcome!

Check this out. http://androidforums.com/faqs/443072-adb-guide-updated-12-05-2011-a.html

Someone will be able to answer questions, not saying it is I!

Edit: updated in second post, look there.

Thanks for the direction - this forum is pretty massive.

Hi there and welcome to the forums!

For that question, at least, this is the subforum you wanna look in: Application Development - Android Forums

That's probably where you'll spend most of your time with developing apps, but feel free to enjoy the rest of the site too!

EDIT: I got ninja'd! But here is the subforum for your evo 3D: http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-4g/

Yeah, it is!

That looks like a very useful subforum! I've posted my "Help Help" thread - now to eat some strawberries and relax!
