Like the topic says, im new to the whole DROID scene, but after seeing a story in the local paper about verizon getting this new phone, it got my interest. currently i have a LG Voyager, and let me tell you, it is a pile, i have gone through 3 so far, and it hasnt even been a year, touch screen keeps failing, the phone restarts itself alot, dropped calls with full signal, you name it, it has happened, i cannot wait to get my hands on the new motorola droid, so i can throw my voyager away, and speaking of the voyager, not even 2 months after i got it as a xmas present, they stopped making them, guess that should have been a warning sign huh?

Welcome!

I'm on my 6th Voyager (2 years for me. Right on track eh?). We've been waiting for our contracts to end (2 weeks from now) to leave for [a real phone], but then this sudden turn of events!

So, imagine my excitement. Oh wait, you can - quite clearly!

Gunna move this to Introductions.. but while I'm here...

Welcome to the AF forums and enjoy your visits !!

I am also new to android. I have a Samsung Alias. Mechanically, I have not had any problems with it in 2 years. By brother also has one, but his camera stopped working. For me, the Alias keyboard is too small, but otherwise it was OK for what I got it for at the time...

My brother and I are both going to be getting Droids now...I'm happy to have found this community..I looked at a few other Android forums, but this one seems the most friendly....Glad to be aboard...
