New to HTC not to Android

OK hey i got this phone from a friend(he upgraded to an EVO 4g)anyways the screen is cracked and i already ordered a new one.So the thing i want to know is what are the ups and downs for this phone.I'm coming from a Huawei Ascend(what A P.O.S )anyways even with the screen cracked Ive unlocked the boot loader with S-on,installed a custom recovery,and gained root access
anything is appreciated.

The 2 biggest problems I would say are:
1. Internal memory (Which can be solved if you root the phone and install links2sd)
2. Speaker volume (which until now, I couldn't find any solution)
But other than that, I love it!!

OK thanks so whats wrong with the speaker volume?????? and it has a 3.5mm head jack which is really nice compared to the ascends 2.5mm.

I use Music Volume EQ which womewhat improves a tiny bit...
