New to Samsung

Hi, I just purchased the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and so far I do like it very much. I also have a Nook Color rooted running CM7, so I am not completely a newbie.

The tab has a SD slot like the Nook but I can't figure out how to move apps or anything from internal memory to the card. It's formated and mounted in settings and I have an app to move but the choice isn't even there. I am hoping I am doing something wrong but I am thinking I can't do it with this tab.:(

Thanks for any help you can give me.

If you gotta move an app to the uSD (and it will move staying operational) an app I have used is called app2SD. Free on the Market.

Thank but it doesn't work for the Samsung, I thinks it has to do with Honeycomb. Samsung tech said the SD card is only for photo's, videos and documents. I wished I had known that before I purchased it but will have to decide if I am going to keep it. I do love everything else about.

Also the 7.7 is another option if it ever gets released.

thanks

Not to be pissy with a Samsung tech but that's wrong. I personally know HC will run apps like that. Now perhaps apps like that will not operate properly until one roots their device I will grant but a blanket statement like that from the "support" person is wrong. That said the app is primarily used on phones where storage is limited. And with 16G on our GTab 7+ we have storage galore! Bottom line is the support tech is wrong. You can put whatever you want on your uSD card. The little GTab 7+ doesn't care. :)
