New to SF....

Got my gf a Fascinate, I have an Incredible which I love, and have some questions and wondering if there were any tips or tricks for this phone. The screen on this thing is amazing but I dont like the UI at all. Can't believe SF doesn't have Froyo by now, sup wit dat?
Can you turn off the mobile network (3G)? On my Inc I can. Couldn't find it on SF. any good phone locators in case of loss?

Im pretty sure with "juice defender" in the android market you can turn off 3G.. I dont use it but I think I have heard that around here.
