Hello all,
I am brand new to the Android world as I bought my Motorola Xoom earlier today.
To give a little background, I have long been an Apple guy. I have several Macs at home, every iteration of iPhone, and several iPods along with a couple of Apple TV's.
Recently I began to snap out of it, and I realized I was becoming somewhat of an iZombie, without giving too much thought into any possible alternatives out there. It was when I first saw the Evo 4G running Android, and the Windows Phone 7 OS that I began to wake up and realize there was much more out there.
Upon the news of iPad 2 I began to look around at alternatives (which is a big step and a first for me) and kept coming back to the Xoom. Well I finally went to play with one and just fell in love with the OS as it was nice and refreshing for the same plain old iOS I have been using for 4 years now.
I have a long road ahead of learning this whole new Android world, but it seems like a much better place to be.
Just thought I would give my introduction, sorry if it was too long. And please go easy on me, I'm still learning!
