I just received my Droid X a few days ago and I am loving it! This is my first smart phone. I have been living with my Cell Phone, Blackberry and a Palm and I am looking forward to having everything in 1 piece of hardware.
All of my Contacts, Calendar & about 50 Memos are in my Palm desktop. I have always thought that the Palm Desktop is, by far, the best desktop application to hold all of this info. I have read a lot the threads about how to sync the Palm desktop with my X. I can't use Outlook and the company I work for won't allow access to Gmail. I have looked at CompanionLink and it seems kind of expensive and I'm not sure that it makes sense to be syncing to a program that is 7 year old.
Having all of my info on my desktop pc is essential, being able to update both the desktop and my X and being able to sync it is my desire.
I would love to have your suggestions.
Thanks,
Ken
