Root New to the phone.....wifi tether??

Just curioius if anyone has gotten it to work? I just got the phone today and rooted right away. I've tried the TrevMod, Foxfi and Beetmobile apps. None seem to work. Trevmod starts but with errors, Foxfi doesn't even show up as a connection and, although Beet shows up to connect to, the app shuts down moments after it turns on. Just curious. I can share 4g via Klink app so it's not a deal breaker, but would be nice. Thanks for any info

I've just used the default tethering app that comes with the phone. It works great so I haven't tried other tethering apps.

I use Portable Wifi Hotspot app from the play store so it doesn't check if I have a tether plan and its the native tether app. To get around the T-mobile Upsell block just use a user agent spoofer on your internet browser Chrome works best since it has a lot of user agent plugins to choose from.
