How can I get all my camera pictures to save to my SD card and not on the phone memory?

I cant figure it out!

Thanks in advance!

well, it is a milestone but when I view my pictures it list ones I have taken and then ones i have downloaded. the downloaded ones are listed underthe sd card folder as the camera pics are not. shouldnt they all be under the sd folder?

Where is it putting them? They should be in a folder called "Camera" which is on the SD card inside "dcim". in other words in /sdcard/dcim/Camera.

Erm.. If you don't know how to see where they are, why do you think they're not on the sd card?

Anyway, download a file manager from the market and browse the phone to see where your pictures are stored.

sorry for bothering you all with such a stupid question, didnt know i would be ridiculed for not knowing about my phone....

Not one of us said it was a stupid question we just wanted to know how you arrived at the assumption it was being saved on the phone rather then the sd card. If it was being saved to the phone we wanted to know how and why. Only older phones do that because they sucked big time. New smart phones are well.. a lot smarter. These phones have excellent camera's and don't have enough internal memory to hold enough pictures with great quality. Would be redundant if it only was stored on the phone itself.

And one more thing confirming it does save pictures to the SD card - remote it, start the camera app and it will say it right in your face :). Plus you won't be able to take pictures without SD card, which means only one thing ;).
