So finally after asking around some questions I bought a Samsung i5700 Spica 
it was already used so it's rooted with samdroid 2.1 ROM with quite some apps.
Loving the device but there are just so many options that I dunno where to start from!
It's also my first touchscreen phone, I've used N97 on trial for 2 weeks before but that had a physical keyboard so this is some different experience.
