Help New update=GPS not working

I did the OTA update to the new software update and everything seems to work great with the exception of the texting issue everyone is having and my GPS. This really bugs me as I have been using it for directions and to track routes. Well, now after the new update I can't even get it to connect anymore. My frustration level with this is getting high as I have tried a bunch of things to get it to work. Is anyone else having this issue and if so, what have you tried or what fixed it? I use the google navigator and it has always worked very well.

Install "GPS Status & Toolbox". There's a free version in the Market. Launch it and go into its Settings>GPS & Sensors>Sensor filtering and set the filter strength to "medium". This may help the GPS to lock faster. I don't use Google Navigator a lot, but when I have, I have noticed it finds GPS and plots the route much faster than it did before I installed "GPS Status". If it's still too slow, try lowering the filter strength.
