New update is killing my G2

Since I got the update, my battery is lasting about 4 hrs while at work where it used to last 8 hours. I don't have much service in my office so it has always drained the battery. Now I have no service and it is killing it in 4 hrs. Ughh not so much a plea for help as I don't think there is anything that can be done. I guess this is just more of a rant.

Sure there is, you can flash whatever firmware you want. If you end up attributing it to the newer firmware version, go backward. I'd first try a factory reset though especially if you updated to Lollipop from Kitkat.

Didn't know I could do that.
I'll try pulling my personal stuff off and doing a factory reset to see how it does.
