Verizon is updating the Vortex, apparently. DLing now... Is it just a tiny patch, or do you think it'll have something interesting?
 
How can you tell when there is an update. Do you have to set an option on your phone to not have it automatically updated so then you get a notification?
 
Be careful. If you want to keep root access, you'll lose it with the 2.2.1 update that has been released. Then, it takes some work, but you can get it back to 2.2.

Anyone know exactly what 2.2.1 does and if there will ever be an exploit that can allow root access for 2.2.1?

I seems the hide the hotspot icon in the notification area, when using the Hotspot Widget. But the widget still works... :p
