Help New upgrade can it be uninstalled?

Lurker
I have just updated my phone and do not like the new software, is there any way I can uninstall the update as there is no option on the keyboard when you are writing a message in Facebook etc (i dont use fb app. I use online version) to minimise the keyboard. The new version obstructs the text so you can't see what you have written, now you have to to keep using the back buttons to check what you've written? I use my phone mainly for this. I have an HTC SV One

Thank you

I believe that system-wide software updates cannot be uninstalled easily.

However, you always have the option to install a different keyboard from the play store that has a minimize button. However, on HTC phones, pressing the back button with the keyboard open tends to minimize the keyboard, and I believe this is why they removed the button, because it was redundant and the back button does the same thing.

Hi, thanks for helping, I tried the back button but it must deletes the last letter that I've written.

I'm trying to say the capacitive back button below the screen. That should make the keyboard go away. Sorry, I wasn't very clear about that.
