Hey there, I signed up with Verizon two nights ago and I eagerly await the arrival of my Incredible from the FedEx man. Sometime within the next 4 hours I will be starting the 8h initial charge time ><. *sigh*

I have to tell you. I never did that with my incredible. Maybe I'm stupid. I just charged it to full and used it. I also got a 1550 mah battery from the Eris that fit in the Incredible and I was fine.
I gave it back for the Droid X because of call quality, but that issue seems to be fixed with your Froyo update. Good luck with it!
